Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia beat Uzbek Lokomotiv Tashqand 3-1 in the first round of group C of the Asian soccer champions tournament at a match held at King Fahd international stadium in Riyadh this evening. The draw zero all of Al-Sadd of Qatar and Khozestan of Iran in Iran earlier today pushed Al-Hilal to top the group. Saud Kerery scored for Al-Hilal in the 11th minute before his team-mate Yousef Al-Salem made it 2-0 only three minutes later. However, Marzev Sardor of the Uzbek team brought the match to the high spirits of going towards equalizing when he scored in the 39th minutes, ending the first half 2-1. Overwhelming the second half as was the situation in the first half, Al-Hilal dashed away the guests hopes to get the equalizer when its Brazilian Tiago netted in the 71st minute.
