Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also Chairman of the Security and Political Affairs Council, chaired at the Royal Court today the second meeting of the Security and Political Affairs Council. At the outset of the meeting, the council is briefed on the latest political and security developments at local, regional and international arenas. The council is also briefed on the efforts exerted by the security authorities, reviewing models of development, especially in the technical field and taking advantage of the latest research in this field to enhance the security and safety of citizens and residents. The council also reviewed recommendations regarding combating terrorism and the Kingdom's efforts with its international partners to address this scourge and submit the council's recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
