Majlis Al-Shura holds 15th ordinary session

Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 15th ordinary session under the chairmanship of the Council's Deputy Speaker Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jafri.
The Council called upon Control and Investigation Board (CIB) to coordinate with the concerned authorities to quickly finish the study of a draft regulation on the fight against the abuse of power, and demanded it to strengthen its supervisory role by stepping up coordination and cooperation with follow-up units in government agencies and civil society institutions.
The Council also approved a draft regulation on audiovisual media.
