At least four U.N. peacekeepers were wounded in an explosion near the eastern Mali town of Tabankort on Sunday, Radhia Achouri, a spokeswoman for the U.N. mission, MINUSMA, said on Monday, according to Reuters. U.N. peacekeepers face a tough task in Mali where there is no peace to keep two years after French forces wrested control of the desert north from separatist rebels and militants linked to al Qaeda.
