EU leaders called Thursday for a compromise to be hashed out for Greece's bailout, amid worries that the country may otherwise run out of money and destabilize the eurozone. New Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is seeking to renegotiate the rescue package, after his far-left government was elected last month on a promise to end the painful budget cuts, tax hikes and other austerity measures required in exchange for the aid. But time is running short for a new deal to be found, with the European portion of Greece's rescue package due to expire at the end of the month. A Greek government official said Thursday that his country will not run into liquidity problems if new arrangements are in place by July or August, when two large European Central Bank (ECB) bonds have to be repaid.
