The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday strongly condemned the horrific killing of the second Japanese journalist hostage, Kenji Goto, by the Daesh terrorist organization. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement today emphasized that this terrorist act reiterates the necessity and inevitability of rallying international community efforts to stamp out the lethal terrorism menace in all its forms and manifestations as it poses a threat to all human and ethical values and international laws and norms. ''This savage, inhumane act represents extremism and terrorism in their most monstrous forms,'' the statement added. The Ministry also expressed its heart-felt condolences and sympathy to the government and friendly people of Japan and to the family of the victim.
