Japan, South Korea and the United States on Wednesday maintained the condition that North Korea take credible steps towards denuclearization before any resumption of long-stalled six-party talks, dpa reported. At a trilateral meeting in Tokyo, representatives agreed that "it is important that North Korea express its commitment toward denuclearization in a concrete manner," said Junichi Ihara, a Japanese foreign ministry official.
