Liberia says there are currently only five confirmed cases of Ebola in the entire country, AP reported. At the height of the outbreak in August and September, Liberia was recording more than 300 new cases of the deadly virus every week. But in recent weeks the outbreak has waned. Tolbert Nyenswah, who heads the country's Ebola response, said Monday that there are now only five people in the whole country being treated for Ebola. The news comes ahead of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf's state of the nation address Monday. Sierra Leone and Guinea "the other two West African countries hammered by the disease" have also seen a dramatic reduction in cases, but they are still recording more new infections than Liberia. -- SPA 18:54 LOCAL TIME 15:54 GMT تغريد
