Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, today thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for bestowing on him his royal confidence appointing him as Minister of Defense and Chief of Royal Protocol and prayed to Allah Almighty to help him achieve the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In a statement, he wished the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud every success to lead the country towards more prosperity and progress. He condoled the King, his Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy of Interior, on the sad demise of late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He said "we missed a dedicated leader to his religion, nation and people".
