Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince reassured all about the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressing his thanks and appreciation to all who have inquired about the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to be reassured about his health after medical tests which he has undergone, praying to Allah Almighty to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, bestow upon him good health and protect him from any harm. The Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the message he received from President Tony Tan Keng Yam of the Republic of Singapore, the results of his meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Rami Al-Hamdallah, and his meeting with French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. Then the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on the latest developments and events in the region and the world, and a number of topics on local affairs. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Khudhairi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet expressed its pride in the Kingdom's wise economic policy, which has succeeded in protecting its economy from the fluctuations of global economic conditions and the decline in oil prices; and its budget came in continuation of the expenditures on supporting comprehensive and balanced development, improving services provided to citizens, and creating more job opportunities for them in public and private sectors. The Cabinet stressed the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which emphasized the responsibility of all to maintain the Kingdom's stability and security to continue the march of growth and development, affirming the King's call on all officials to exert maximum efforts to implement the budget's programs and projects efficiently and in quality to achieve its goals and be enjoyed by citizens. --More 14:37 LOCAL TIME 11:37 GMT تغريد
