Bahrain's Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla underscored the importance of enhancing relations of his country with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and coordinate with it at the regional and international platforms, lauding the pioneering role of Saudi Arabia in the region. This came as he received at his office today the Saudi ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Shiekh. During the meeting, the Bahraini senior official also lauded the historic fraternal ties binding the two peoples and countries, citing the progressive developments witnessed by the two countries, thanks to the support by the two leaderships of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. A number of issues of mutual concern as well as the regional developments, including the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to bring about Arab unity and reconciliation were also reviewed.
