Russia says will send Ukraine coal, electricity without advance pay

Russia said Saturday it will deliver coal and
electricity to Ukraine without advanced payment to help the country
meet its energy needs, dpa reported.
"This proves President [Vladimir] Putin's political goodwill to
provide support for Ukrainians, particularly before New Year,"
presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state news agency TASS.
