Pakistani commandos are fighting Taliban militants who have killed 21 people and taken hundreds of students and teachers hostage at a military-run school, dpa cited officials as saying. "The operation is under way" in the north-western city of Peshawar, said Pervaiz Khattak, chief minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. "Intense gun fighting is taking place inside the school."
