US Secretary of State John Kerry opened the works of the international conference of the partner countries participating in the coalition against the ISIS terrorist organization in the presence of representatives from (62) countries. Prince Saud al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs led the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the conference. In his opening speech, Kerry said that the meeting reflects a collective will to defeat the terrorist ISIS organization and limit its abilities, stressing that it means a swift movement by the 62 countries as a sign of the seriousness of such movement, welcoming measures taken recently by the Iraqi government. He commended the participation of Arab and Islamic countries and their strong contribution to the efforts to contain and combat terrorism, as the international coalition succeeded in deterring ISIS terrorist organization and stopping its spread, he said, adding that the conference will listen to the viewpoints of the participants and their positions on various aspects of challenging the terrorist organization, including the phenomenon of its foreign fighters. Participants in the one-day meeting are scheduled to discuss the best strategy to confront the ISIS terrorist organization.
