Under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Prime Minister Abdul-Ilah bin Keran today opened the Moroccan GCC 4th investment forum at Sheraton hotel in this Moroccan city of Casablanca. Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Casablanca Municipal Council Mohammed Sajed said his authority has allotted $34 billion for investments in the infrastructure, transport and water of the province. Keran lauded, in particular, the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Islam and Muslims all over the world and in different fields. He confirmed that the GCC countries would be given priority in investing in Morocco, vowing to work to alleviate whatever difficulties before investors. For his part, the Chairman of the Saudi Moroccan Business Council Mohammed Fahd Al-Hammadi, who is also Chairman of the Agriculture and Food Security Committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Industry and Commerce, said the Saudi Moroccan relations are witnessing unprecedented progress under the umbrella of the two prudent governments of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Mohammed VI of Morocco respectively.
