Russia will seek to triple trade with Turkey to 100 billion dollars annually to offset Western sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Turkish media Friday, dpa reported. Putin is to visit Turkey Monday for talks with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who Putin praised as far-sighted for his refusal to take part in Western sanctions. The Russian leader criticized the sanctions against Russia imposed over the Ukraine crisis as unacceptable. Putin's talks with Erdogan will centre on the international fight against the ISIS militant group in Syria and Iraq, Kremlin spokesman Yuri Ushakov was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency. -- SPA 22:01 LOCAL TIME 19:01 GMT تغريد
