Mafia boss Sebastiano Brunno to serve life sentence in Italy

Mafia boss Sebastiano Brunno is to be extradited to Italy to serve a life sentence for a 1992 murder, a court in the Mediterranean island of Malta decided Friday, dpa reported.
Brunno, 56, is wanted in the Sicilian city of Catania over the murder
of mafia rival Agnello Nicolo in April 1992 and for weapons
possession.
Known as the head of the Nardo Cosca, a branch of the Sicilian Cosa
Nostra, Brunno was arrested in Malta on October 2, five years after
the Sicilian police mounted an extensive hunt for him.
