Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado says she will comply with an order to appear in court on charges of plotting to kill the president, AP reported. The Latin American country's chief prosecutor Wednesday ordered the former congresswoman to appear in court Dec. 3 on charges of participating in a U.S.-backed plot to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro. On Thursday, Machado said the charges are further evidence that Venezuela's socialist regime is a dictatorship sowing chaos at all levels. She said she would show up for the court date, but wouldn't say what she would do if the government moves to arrest her. -- SPA 21:52 LOCAL TIME 18:52 GMT تغريد
