Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local and international issues.
On the GCC, Alyoum newspaper said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' call for Gulf reconciliation agreement began to bear fruit as the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council announced that the GCC Ministerial Council will hold a meeting in Doha tomorrow to prepare for the 35th summit in Qatar.
On privacy, Alwatan newspaper hailed the step taken by the Ministry of Interior regarding legislation for the protection of individuals' data.
On Bahrain, Almadinah newspaper commended Bahrain's parliamentary elections held on Saturday, whose results have begun to show in succession since yesterday.
