A suicide bomber disguised in a school uniform blew himself up at a boys' secondary school in northern Nigeria on Monday, killing at least 47 people, according to police. Some 79 people were wounded in the attack in Potiskum, in Yobe state, which took place as students were in the yard of the boarding school during the morning roll call, dpa reported. Police Commissioner Markus Danladi said the exact number of casualties could not be confirmed until he had reached the site, which is about 120 kilometers from the state capital, Damaturu. Police said the wounded were rushed to hospital and an investigation was ongoing.
