Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local and international issues. On Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' unity, Okaz newspaper highlighted the urgency of the GCC countries' union after 33 years of the establishment of the GCC. On the same issue, Almadinah newspaper underlined the call by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud three years ago for moving the Gulf Cooperation Council from the stage of cooperation to the union stage.
