Ahmed bin Rakad Al Ameri, Director of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), has said that the visitors of SIBF over the last three days exceeded 465,000. He added that the qualitative and various sessions organized by the 33rd edition of the SIBF, and the surge in number of participant publishing houses to 1,256 representing 56 countries, contributed to the increment in number of visitors, noting that about 200,000 visitors were registered on the third day alone, WAM reported. Al Ameri expected that the number would rise by 25 per cent compared to the last year on the last days of SIBF.
