Zambian President Michael Sata dies in London

Zambian President Michael Sata is dead, secretary to
the cabinet Rowland Msiska confirmed Wednesday, according to dpa.
The 77-year-old had left Zambia for London more than a week ago to
receive medical treatment for an undisclosed illness. He was
accompanied by his wife and family members.
Msiska said Sata passed away at a London hospital Tuesday evening.
Msiska called for calm and said information about the funeral would
be communicated in due course.
