The Ministry of Health has issued a further statement to the previous one on registering cases of infection with Coronavirus (MERS) in Taif, saying that it is still recorded sporadic cases of infection by the virus, stressing the importance of adherence to preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease, not to contact with the infected camels, as well as an emphasis on measures to control infection in health facilities. The ministry noted the completion of the review and application of all precautionary and preventive measures to curb the spread of infection in health facilities in Taif, indicating the operating of a kidney unit at King Faisal Hospital in Taif urgently including 25 dialysis chairs, so as to relieve the pressure, which dealth with about one-third of patients.
