AlHijjah 30, 1435, Oct 24, 2014, SPA -- A Cambodian soldier is on the run after allegedly killing his younger commander with a machete for intervening in a marital dispute, a news report said Friday. According to dpa, Sergeant major Te Bunthoeun, 44, was involved in a dispute with his wife in Banteay Meanchey province on Wednesday, when she called her husband's superior officer, The Cambodia Daily said, quoting a military official. Twenty-eight-year-old commander Nget Kong Rith arrived at the house and disciplined Bunthoeun, slapping him twice, the report said. Bunthoeun then ran inside the house and picked up a machete.
