AlHijjah 27, 1435, Oct 21, 2014, SPA -- Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait received today Ministers, Heads of delegations and Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani who are participating in the GCC 23rd Conference of Ministers of Education being hosted by Kuwait. During the audience, the Emir of Kuwait praised efforts being exerted in the field of education and its advancement for the development of peoples and its renaissance, stressing the importance of strengthening the joint GCC cooperation and the pursuit of supporting the joint GCC march, wishing them continued success. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Education is heading the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the conference. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of implementing the directives of the GCC leaders that will strengthen ties among their peoples and uphold the level of education.
