AlHijjah 23, 1435, Oct 17, 2014, SPA -- Saudi embassy in Turkey issued another statement here today in regard to the death of the Saudi citizen Fahd bin Ibrahim bin Fahd Aldoerj in the city of Mardin, Turkey, during his accidental presence at the time of the outbreak of demonstrations in the region. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), "the embassy is in contact with pertinent authorities to take necessary measurements to guarantee prompt investigation into the circumstances of the killing and to bring perpetrators to justice," the embassy stressed. The Turkish authorities told the embassy that the Saudi national has been killed as Kurdish demonstrators opened fire on his car while he was driving. "In accordance with the forensic report, Aldoerj was killed by several gunshots pierced the left side of the chest," the statement added. "Upon directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, the Deputy Crown Prince and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi embassy reiterated its efforts in following the case with the Turkish authorities in order to arrest and bring assistants to justice," the statement stressed. The Saudi embassy called upon the Saudi visitors to Turkey to take caution and stay away from suspicious places and gathering areas and do not hesitate to contact with the embassy or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
