AlHijjah 21, 1435, October 15, 2014, SPA -- The Ministers of Information of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States started their 22nd meeting here today. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting, including Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser and Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and Information for Information Affairs Engineer Saleh Al-Moghailith. Addressing the meeting, Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters said that this meeting comes in light of regional and international successive accelerated challenges and developments at both political and security levels necessitating that the GCC States employ their media in an optimal way through one GCC information vision and mission to confirm the unity of destiny, the common goal, and moderation of religion and Islamic approach to maintain the security, stability and unity of GCC States and their peoples.
