AlHijjah 21, 1435, October 15, 2014, SPA -- The Foreign Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States and Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom Philip Hammond concluded here yesterday the 4th Joint Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue between the GCC States and the United Kingdom. Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting. In their final statement, the Ministers emphasized their determination to continue strengthening of the relations between the GCC States and the United Kingdom, the mechanisms for dialogue and cooperation to deal with the challenges facing the region. The Ministers stressed the importance of developing these relations in a strategic framework that serves the common interests and provides a regular framework to discuss issues of concern to both sides. The meeting approved the plan of joint work between the GCC States and the United Kingdom for the period 2015-2018 as a road map for cooperation in the areas of common interest including cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, energy, environment, political and security cooperation, education, scientific research, culture, tourism and promotion of communication between peoples. --More 11:18 LOCAL TIME 08:18 GMT تغريد
