AlHijjah 20, 1435, Oct 14, 2014, SPA -- Japanese shares tumbled Tuesday for the fifth straight trading day on a stronger yen and overnight losses on Wall Street, dpa reported. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 364.04 points, or 2.38 per cent, to end at 14,936.51 falling below 15,000 for the first time in two months. The broader-based Topix index was down 28.82 points, or 2.32 per cent, at 1,214.27. On currency markets at 3 pm (0600 GMT), the dollar traded at 107.19-20 yen, down from Friday's 5 pm quote of 108.08-09 yen. The euro was quoted at 136.27-28 yen, down from 136.90-94 yen late Friday.
