Bangladesh issues maritime alert for ports ahead of cyclone

AlHijjah 17, 1435, Oct 11, 2014, SPA -- Authorities in Bangladesh issued a warning to maritime
ports Saturday ahead of the expected landfall of tropical cyclone
Hudhud in the Bay of Bengal, dpa reported.
The cyclone was expected to hit Orissa and Andhra Pradesh states in
India before noon on Sunday, with speeds of up to 150 kilometres per
hour.
