AlHijjah 11, 1435, October 05, 2014, SPA -- Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA)'s teams have provided treatment to a number of injured pilgrims following a rockslide in Mina. In a statement issued today, the Authority said that six of its ambulance teams, two rapid intervention and two air ambulances, were dispatched to the scene where the rockslide resulted in a number of injuries. It added that upon arrival at the incident scene, the different ambulance teams found 14 pilgrims with varied injuries from medium to minor where they were provided with medical services necessary for them while six cases had to be hospitalized at hospitals across the holy sites by ground ambulance teams, in addition to the transfer of two injured cases by air ambulance and other six cases were treated at the scene.
