AlHijjah 7, 1435, Oct 1, 2014, SPA -- Upon directives of the GCC leaders, the Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States held here today an emergency meeting to discuss the regrettable events taking place in the Republic of Yemen and evaluate the latest developments at the Yemeni arena and its risks and direct implications on the local and regional security of the GCC. Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, chaired the meeting with participation of Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Sabah; Omani Interior Minister Hmoud bin Faisal Al-Bosaidi; Bahraini Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa; Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nassir bin Khalifa Al Thani and UAE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
