AlHijjah 7, 1435, Oct 1, 2014, SPA -- At least 10 civilians were killed by artillery fire in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk on Wednesday, further straining a shaky ceasefire in place since September 5. Six people died and one injured when a bus was hit by a shell not far from the airport in the city's north, the regional administration said. Another four were killed and eight injured when a shell struck nearby, narrowly missing a school, dpa reported. Wednesday was the first day of school in Donetsk, where the separatist rebels who control much of the city postponed the traditional start of the school year, September 1, because of the fighting. The Kiev-appointed administration blamed separatists for both attacks. However, separatist leaders blamed Ukrainian government troops for the shelling, Russian news agencies reported. -- SPA 18:26 LOCAL TIME 15:26 GMT تغريد
