AlHijjah 06, 1435, September 30, 2014, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since its foundation by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, has undertaken serious responsibilities towards Arab and Islamic nations, and humanitarian community, emanating from the right Islamic approach urging on the service of Islam and Muslims and support for Arab-Islamic solidarity.
The Kingdom has contributed to the establishment of four political, regional, Arab, Islamic and international organizations including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in 1389AH - 1969AD, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States in 1401AH - 1981AD, one of 7 Arab states which founded the Arab League in 1364AH - 1945AD, and one of 51 states which founded the United Nations Organization in 1364AH - 1945AD.
