The easy win left Barca with 16 points from six games, three more than Valencia and Sevilla. Neymar gave Barca the lead in the 26th minute after a poor back-pass from Granada's Hector Yuste. Just before half-time Ivan Rakitic made it 2-0 by heading in a centre from Messi; then Neymar immediately added a third after Granada keeper Roberto had failed to hold on to a shot from youngster Munir. Messi scored the fourth by turning in a centre from Dani Alves, then generously set up Neymar to complete his hat-trick.
