AlQa'dah 27, 1435, September 22, 2014, SPA -- The Ministerial Council of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) expressed in its meeting in New York yesterday deep regret and grave concern at the recent events in the Republic of Yemen, welcoming the agreement reached yesterday, hoping that it leads to a cessation of violence and enhancement of security and stability of Yemen. The Ministerial Council stressed its standing with fraternal Yemen and support for Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his efforts in maintaining the legitimacy and preventing bloodshed, calling on all parties to put the national interest in the front, avoid incitement, and adhere to a political approach that makes Yemen avoid sliding into chaos and violence threatening its security, stability and unity.
