AlQa'dah 07 , 1435,September 02 , 2014, SPA -- Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, the Minister of Culture and Information, here accompanying Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who is on an official visit to France, met in Paris today with Olivet Shachamic, Head of the Supreme Council for Audiovisual Media in France. The meeting was held at the council's headquarters in Paris in the presence of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh bin Salamah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for External Information. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and France and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in the field of information between the two countries and benefiting from the two parties' joint experience in this field. In a press statement following the meeting, Dr. Khoja, expressed happiness of meeting the head of the Supreme Council for Audiovisual media in France, noting that the council, which matches with the Saudi Audiovisual Media Commission, is well-known of its wide experience in the field of audiovisual media, both busy in organizing whatever is transmit in the audiovisual space. Dr. Khoja cited cultural considerations for each community to transmit and accept whatever suits its culture, customs and systems. He differentiated between organizing the output of media and suppressing the sources of information. He vowed that such meetings will take place in future to further consolidate bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, as per instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, who space no effort to provide support for those relations in the interest of the two countries. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Khoja and his host exchanged memorial gifts.
