54,263 Pilgrims Arrive in Kingdom

Qa'dah 7, 1435, Sep 2, 2014, SPA -- The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has confirmed the arrival of 54,263 pilgrims in the Kingdom by air across Hajj and Umrah halls at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International in Madinah since the start of this year's Hajj season on Dhu Al-Qa'dah 1 - 5, 1435, aboard 287 flights from various Arab and Islamic countries.
In a press release, GACA explained that the number of pilgrims who have arrived at Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport reached (32,918) pilgrims, aboard (177) flights from different nationalities while the number of pilgrims arriving through Madinah-based Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International amounted to (21,345) pilgrims on board of (110) planes of several carriers of different Arab and Muslim nationalities.
