Presidency of Meteorology Organizes Workshop on Middle East's Operational Meteorology Information Centre for Aeronautics

Qa'dah 5, 1435, Aug 31, 2014, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represented by the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental Protection organized today the regional workshop on: (Operational Meteorology Information Centre for Aeronautics in Middle East), in collaboration with the regional bureau of International Civil Aviation Organization "ICAO".
The two day workshop is being witnessed the participation of a number of representatives of member countries in the Middle East region and a number of regional organizations, bodies, government agencies and airlines.
This was announced by Undersecretary of General Presidency for Meteorology Affairs, Dr. Ayman Ghulam who said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been nominated to host the Center due to its selection as the first country in aviation safety.
