Ministry of Agriculture Announces Start of Shrimp Fishing Season in Red Sea

AlQa'dah 5, 1435, Aug 31, 2014, SPA -- The Ministry of Agriculture announced the start of the shrimp fishing season in the Red Sea, starting from tomorrow, Monday.
The Ministry called on fishermen to comply with regulations and instructions issued in this regard, and the use of legitimate fishing methods that contribute to the sustainable development of the Shrimp stock, for the interest of the fishermen themselves in the abundance of shrimp and not to harm them in the areas of commercial fishing.
The ministry confirmed that whoever does not comply with the regulations and instructions shall be subject to penalties.
