Qa'dah 4, 1435, Aug 30, 2014, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Member States, Dr. Rashid Al-Zayani stressed that the agenda of the 132nd session of the GCC Ministerial Council was full of regional as well as international issues, in addition to the situation in Yemen, Iraq, Gaza, Syria and Libya. He said that all these issues were the subject of deep discussion among the GCC Foreign Ministers, indicating that the Foreign Minister of Yemen Dr. Jamal Al-Sallal has attended a part of the GCC Ministerial Council's meetings to brief it on the latest developments in Yemen. Dr. Al-Zayani further said that the GCC's countries are keen on the success of the political march in Yemen within the GCC's initiative and its executive mechanisms. In a joint press conference held at Jeddah Conference Palace today with Sheikh Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, who is also the chairman of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, Dr. Al-Zayani made clear that the meeting reviewed in its current session the developments of the GCC joint action, discussed the latest developments relating to a number of regional and international issues and confirmed the GCC' support of Yemen and all the efforts being exerted by President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen. He also said that the meeting stressed the importance of the march of GCC joint action, amid a positive atmosphere and along the directives of the leaders of GCC's countries, who emphasized their keenness to complete the more than 33 years of the blessed march and to address the challenges all the issues in the region with this unified and coherent system. --More 22:48 LOCAL TIME 19:48 GMT تغريد
