AlQa'dah 01, 1435, August 27, 2014, SPA -- Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk told parliament on Wednesday his government aims to increase defence spending to 2 percent of gross domestic product in 2016, Reuters reported. Poland's president had already proposed such an increase. The country currently spends 1.95 percent of its GDP on its armed forces, one of the highest rates of military spending in Europe.
