Elections are set for October 26 in Ukraine after President Petro Poroshenko dissolved Parliament, dpa reported. "The early parliamentary elections are part of my peace plan," he says in a statement. The "key element" is political dialogue with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine, Poroshenko says. "The ballot is the most powerful weapon wielded by citizens to defend the country," he says.
