King Fahd Medical City has won the global standard certificate for information security ISO 27001 from TUV Astra Hellas Organization in Greece, which is the second one in this field, in recognition of its application of the best scientific practices and international standards for the protection of its private and confidential data and technological systems. The City's Executive Director for Health Informatics and Information Technology Dr. Khalid Al-Odhaibi pointed out that King Fahd Medical City applies international standards consistent with ISO 27001 since 2009 to provide the best levels of safe services and commit to an overall quality.
