Two U.S. train crew members were killed and two others injured when two freight trains collided head-on in northeast Arkansas, Arkansas State Police said Monday. The collision happened Sunday in Hoxie, a small town northwest of Memphis, Tennessee. A resulting fire took about seven hours to extinguish, according to a Police spokesman. Authorities asked about 500 people within 1.5 miles (2400 meters) of the collision to leave their homes following the crash because of the fire, the Arkansas State Police said.
