Three Indian engineers kidnapped by Taliban militants in eastern Afghanistan, have been freed by the government forces, dpa quoted the intelligence department as saying on Saturday. "These engineers were working for a company, and were abducted by the militants earlier in the week while travelling from Logar province to Kabul," said the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement. "Our detection personnel found out their location and launched an operation in the Babus area of Logar province, rescuing them unhurt."
