The Ministry of Hajj has announced the end of Umrah season for 1435 AH (2014) and full success of its operational plan approved for the current Umrah season in light of the exceed of the number of Umrah performers the barrier of six million who have already returned to their countries, leaving only 9,360 Umrah performers who are on their way to leave during the next few days. The Ministry stressed that the number of defaulters decreased during this Umrah season to record levels reaching (0,014%) compared to previous years amid the tightened application of its global electronic system "Umrah Electronic Track" which controlled requests for Umrah visas and continuously monitoring the movement of arrival and departure of Umrah performers and their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah, in coordination with the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs in addition to licensed Umrah companies and institutions. This was announced by Assistant Undersecretary of Hajj Ministry for Umrah Affairs and General Manager of a branch of the Ministry of Hajj in Jeddah province, Abdullah bin Mohammed Marghalani.
