Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, described relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arab Republic of Egypt as at the best level. The Prince said in a press statement yesterday evening on the occasion of the visit of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom that this visit paid by the Egyptian President to the Kingdom is not strange because of the distinction of relations between the two countries and their peoples who are considered as one people, expressing his pleasure over the visit and wishing relations to always continue at this level. On the current situation experienced by the Arab and Islamic nation, the Prince said, "We wish that the whole Muslim world unites under one banner "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Prophet", and proceeds on one way rejecting these problems in the Arab and Islamic world." He added, "The visit of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is as the meetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the last holy month of Ramadan and past few days; they all aimed to unite the Muslims, and I hope, God willing, that peace and security prevail in the world ". In response to a question about bilateral relations between the two countries, the Prince said that Saudi-Egyptian relations are always at the highest level and now on the top, wishing that brotherly relations between the two peoples to be at this level and higher, saying "Whatever concerns Egypt is of concern to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".
