The Ministry of Health has advised citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia not to travel to Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea until a further notice due to the outbreak of Ebola virus in these countries. The Ministry of Health stressed its monitoring of the situation in the infected states in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), noting that it will review this notice in the case of changing of health circumstances in these countries. The Ministry pointed out that this announcement comes in the wake of the precautionary measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since last April to stop issuing visas for Umrah and Hajj to these countries during 2014 due to the outbreak of the virus.
